Why PPC is the first step to Affiliate Marketing

One the things that you need to learn about Affiliate Marketing is how to attract your visitors to do what you need them to do, whether it is filling up a form or buying something, there’s a science behind this money making scheme. One thing I’ve learned is that the first step in Affiliate Marketing is to learn about Pay Per Click (PPC).

PPC has taught me several things that is really crucial to a campaign, one thing I’ve learned is that the placement of the ads and how it should blend in with your overall website design and where the hot spots are. What PPC also taught me was understanding each of the ADs and looking at what will make my visitors click on them.

Affiliate Marketing Ads

When I then explored Affiliate Marketing, it was then that I understood where the ads should be and how it would blend in like a normal link through my website. Affiliate Marketing is somehow less on Ads but more on internal links that would lead you to a new landing page where they monetize your visit. So the ads that are left, should be carefully placed and scattered around the website as opposed to being all in one place. Some of the ads are even personally designed to ensure that it is attractive to visitors. What is important is to understand what happens after the click on the ad, which is a totally new field after PPC. That’s where I’m deeply exploring right now.

Now that I pretty much mastered PPC money making, I start to explore deeper in the world of Affiliate Marketing with a better insight. I believe if I did jump straight to affiliate marketing, it would’ve been a disaster for me.
