Domainers all have their own topics that they look for domains for. These topics are then broken down into keywords to which they look different sub topics or niches to which they invest in. So which domain keyword topics have you invested in?…
… Some domainers have a portfolio that is very focused, meaning they tend to invest into related keywords that they want to focus in; while some are scattered. Everyone has their own special topics that we focus on and continue to invest in.
I believe domainers invest on certain keyword domains from the following:
- Liquidity (How easy is it to sell)
- Popularity (High Searches)
- High Advertising competition (High CPC or with many Affiliate Marketing products available)
- Untapped (Where other domainers haven’t looked into)
I personally have invested in a scattered manner, this is because I’m still on my first year in domaining and have been experimenting on my domain investments. But I first based it on high searches and then moved on to certain topics that I found with High advertising competition. Some of my favorite keywords are anything to do with money (banking, mortgages, loans etc.) and consumer goods (fashion, clothing etc.) This is because I found that these topics have high searches, high advertising competition and I know that the industry is lucrative and would be interested *possibly* in acquiring the domain later on for their marketing activities.
So which domain keyword topics have you invested in? How did you base these investments on?
