Twilf, TwitterPimp, Twishing, Twar etc. – Twitter creating a new wave of keywords, domainers would you invest?

twitter keywords Twilf, TwitterPimp, Twishing, Twar etc. Twitter creating a new wave of keywords, domainers would you invest?Domainers would usually say that these type of website (web 2.0) developments don’t really need keyword domains and purely relies on what their system can do. Now that’s so true, but what is even more interesting is that these website web 2.0 developments creates new keywords like from Twitter which domainers can tap. Words like Twilf (Sarah Palin was referred to this term), TwitterPimp, Twishing, Twar, Would you invest?…

… What’s really weird about this is that random people started creating these new keywords and it sort of spreads virally and is now being used by many. It has even gone to the point where people had to make dictionaries for it.

The offline media seem to be loving the new names as well, using these terms, just look for Sarah Palin in Google and you’ll find a lot of names but one that stands out is Twilf. Looking at the word Twilf, it means two things, one is ‘Twitter, I’d like to follow’ while the other is ‘MILF who’s active on Twitter’ (LOL, I guess its the second one).

So would you invest on these Twitter made keywords?

Let’s see, Twitter is supposedly going to become one of the biggest websites in the world (apparently some speculate that they can become the next Google). Why’s that? its because of what their real time data does that is shaping the web into something more faster and dynamic. I’d say Invest if you have some spare cash that you can burn for the next 5 years for Twitter related keywords (remember Twitter is backed by many and is more importantly having a tie up with Google which will provide real time information). It might be a fad and risky, but who knows when tomorrow it becomes as big as Google, it could be worth more. What’s $7 compared to when developers buy it off you for hundreds or thousands of dollars? However if you’re on a tight budget and not really looking to risk then its best to stay away from this.

If you’re looking for some Twitter Related keywords, here are 2 websites that provide a Twittonary, I mean Dictionary:

So guys, when you do stumble upon some funny looking ‘T’ letter starting keywords or called a Twilf just like Sarah Palin, it’s probably Twitter’s fault. I just can’t imagine what our Twanguage.. language will be like in the next 10 – 20 years.
