I know most of us who run blogs have installed our Tweetmeme’s Retweet Button but it has suddenly disappeared from all the websites, leaving us with a blank square button. At first, I thought it was only my sites, but as I check through other sites that have installed it, it really seemed to have disappeared all of a sudden…
… What’s even more surprising is that even on their own website, the Tweetmeme’s retweet button is also missing. It could be an uprade or redesign or whatever but there doesn’t seem to be any information about the outage of the service and none discussing about it. Here’s what it looked like on the sites:
– Tweetmeme’s contact page also have the missing retweet button –
I’ve contacted Tweetmeme to clarify the matter, but I just hope that they do something about it as soon as possible. All the RT’s are going to experience a little slow down.
Update: I’ve received an email back from Tweetmeme’s official representative here’s their reason for the outage:
Hi There,
We are currently experiencing some DNS issues as a result of our domain registrar. We are working to resolve this issue.
Many thanks

I’ve had the same problem. Couldn’t figure out what had happened so Googled it and found this blog. Big problem if that doesn’t get resolved. I’ve noticed a similar problem with the blog aggregation site, The Daily Reviewer.
@Frank Strong: That’s right, all the sites’ retweet button at that time were down.
