It’s that time of the year again where we all celebrate Christmas day, right now, I am and will be away from my computer and having a great holiday abroad (If I can help it). It’s almost the same day last year when I decided to start TechFilipino as my blog and now its almost going to be a year old as well. Anyways I’d like to thank everyone for supporting TechFilipino and would like to wish you all a merry merry Christmas. Anyways here are some of the top 3 Christmas domains that I found online…
… As today is Christmas day, I wanted to feature the top 3 Christmas domains available online (Aside from Wikipedia). With 77 million exact results for the word “Christmas“, it seems like a very tough competition for the keyword. What’s surprising is that out of the 3 domains I’m going to feature, 2 are minisites, the other is a Children’s website. Minisites still are very effective and I believe should rack up tons of visits and revenues from this season.

Ranking number 2 in the search results for the keyword “Christmas”, this website is dedicated to serve kids. Having Christmas related activities, learnings, and games, its pretty much what a kid would enjoy playing around with. What’s also nice is that the website is made in Flash which is so animated and really promotes interaction. No wonder they’re second in the ranking even if their domain has no keyword relating to Christmas, it’s simply the content they provide that counts!

#3, Christmas.com is a minisite, but is cleverly designed that you really feel that its a proper developed website. It seems to have been developed using the Wordpress platform and is making money using PPC ads that they have in the site. This just shows that a minisite can definitely dominate a specific keyword provided that it has a good domain and great contents. There are still some glitches here and there but the website should make lots of money this Christmas.

#4, AllThingsChristmas.com seems to be a website that was built up over time. It also does have glitches here and there but overall the website does provide great contents on Christmas, as well as, activities and games which are included in the website. It makes money out of PPC ads and is very visible on every single page of the website.
