The Walking Dead Computer Game – PC, Mac, PS3, XBOX 360, iPhone / iPad
I truly love watching the TV series, The Walking Dead, but watching it just doesn’t seem enough. The guys at Telltale games took the show into a whole new level, making The Walking Dead Computer Game. It’s not like one of those games like Resident Evil or Left4Dead, this one is much much better. It is more like watching the TV series but being able to make the difficult choices that a survivor must make in the Zombie Apocalypse…
I’m a huge fan of this TV series and as the walking dead game release on iPhone and iPad, I had a chance to play the game (I have a PS3 but I didn’t have time to buy the game). Free the walking dead game? It is for iPhone and iPad. I’ve just completed episode 1 and I’m awaiting The Walking Dead Game Release of episode 2. Here’s my review of the walking dead:
The Walking Dead Game Reviews
You start off as Lee Everett, a man accused of a crime but was offered a second chance as the police car that he was in had a car accident (hitting a walker on the street). Whilst in the Police Car, before the car crash, you get to chat with the police and you choose all the answers, every answer you make have a different impact as to what your character will give you a different experience.
You then meet people, first Clementine (the girl in the picture, I won’t be a spoiler), and with each character there will be loads of conversations and whatever you answer impacts if they trust you, leave you or even hit you (lol, it does happen). You meet a lot of characters in the game that you see on TV, like Glenn (the Asian guy) and Hershel (The Barn owner). You also get to interact and move around certain areas and investigate, converse or get items. A word of warning though, there are certain points where your character can die (game over and continue on the last point), these are the times you get attacked by zombies and you’re too slow to react. So make sure you react fast as things progress.
I’ve really really enjoyed the game, I’m even considering playing episode 1 again (while waiting for episode 2 on my iPhone), and see what happens if I answered the questions differently (like trying to be a dick lol!). I enjoyed playing this a lot and Telltale games have truly made The Walking Dead Computer Game a must play and experience to make the Walking Dead a complete experience. Gone are the days of Left4Dead where you go Rambo (First person or Third person shooters) over hundreds of Zombies, and it’s all about realistic and interactive movie game experience.
Have you guys tried the Walking Dead Computer Game? What did you think of it?
