As an Affiliate Marketer, we need to check it out before promoting their product otherwise we wont earn either…

… My mistake when I first started out in Affiliate Marketing was that I felt that all I need is put the banners up and the money’s going to pour. After I learned I started to promote targetted products but I noticed that I was directing traffic but not getting the conversions, that’s when I thought it’s probably not me it’s them.

Then what I started doing is checking the landing page of the affiliate link, what I found was that the landing page of some of the affiliate links are just not that enticing. There are some that once you land, you really won’t even click anything on it. So what I do now is to see and read the landing page before promoting. The criteria I have is pretty much if I would click on it and, for lead generation, a page that will get me to even consider leaving some of my personal details on it.

It pays to check the landing page, so before you start promoting something, make sure that you’ve researched and checked the product you’re promoting. After all, the market will respond well if it works on you too.
