Sony has finally confirmed that the new Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is going to run Android 2.3 GingerBread OS. This is really cool as everyone speculated on 2.1 but instead got the latest Gingerbread OS. They’ve added a new YouTube video that shows Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 that is running on Android 2.3, and has reassured everyone that functionality will still be the same even with the upgraded OS.
