Web 2.0 is one of the hottest words right now online, it’s one of the movements that has been popularized by many developers (but now moving towards web 3.0). Web 2.0 is basically getting your visitors to interact and provide contents to your website (User generated contents). With domainers trying to monetize on their domain names, isn’t this an attractive concept they could develop for their domain names?…
… Getting good domain names these days are not cheap at all, this is why web 2.0 / 3.0 startups are forced to get weird names which don’t always make sense. But what would be interesting is that if these developers would tie up with a domainer over a great domain name and develop a website concept out of it. Wouldn’t that be the perfect SEO for your website? Domainers have great domain names and developers have great website ideas, it would be a perfect match (I do have some of my own website ideas listed here). All it needs is a little networking and adjustment working on a partnership and things should get rolling very fast.
– Web 2.0 developer + Domainer = perfect development–
There are also other ways like developers really investing into domain names and developing something out of it, or domainers buying scripts or outsourcing some work to developers. There are many ways around it, but bottom line is that web 2.0 is very interactive and could increase your traffic and probably allow you to monetize and make money beyond what you can with a minisite plus increase your resale value. It’s a matter of focusing on one domain and investing some money on it.
I’m actually looking for developers in the Philippines who would be interested in working in this way. I’m open to partnering with Filipino developers in creating web 2.0 / 3.0 concepts together for the Philippines. If anyone’s interested contact me here.
