Nokia: Moving towards the Laptop market?

With the PC industry players moving into the Mobile phone market (Apple, HP, Acer etc.),  Nokia now considers moving into their territory. Nokia stated that they’re looking at the opportunity of entering the Laptop market. With lots of their phone owners experiencing the internet on their phone for the first time, it won’t be long before they make the move. I believe that…

that most of their phone users are used to using their OS (Symbian) and with a big population knowing how to use a mobile phone compared to PC’s, it will be easier for them to adapt and more inclined into buying Nokia Laptops. However, the Laptop market is saturated and profit margins are heavily squeezed so it won’t be an easy ride in. What will be interesting is if Nokia is going for the Netbook type? or would they go for the powerful laptop types?
