Nokia 7205 Intrigue: Nice, sleek, sexy, fashionable Nokia Phone.

Just when we are all start switching to Iphones and other brands, Nokia launches a new phone called the Nokia 7205 Intrigue (only US with Verizon). I must say that this phone is slim, sleek, sexy and is really fashionable. I think it’s their way of getting back into the hip and trendy market for mobile phones, and as the mobile phone market becomes really more competitive with Apple and Google entering the market. It comes with a 2.2 inch display which is quite a large display for mobile phones and weighs only 3.19 oz. It’s equipped with common technologies like bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera, MP3, WMA, AAC playback. What’s really cool though is that it has a touch screen on the front cover which allows you to control music without opening the flip. However, the headset is still 2.5mm which requires an adaptor to be able to use normal headsets on the phone. What’s really different though is that it has 2 models one for women (pink keyboard) and one for men (silver keyboard), which could attract couples to use the same handset:

It’s nice to see Nokia doing something different than just create more and more smart phones, it’s great that they focus on different designs which fits different tastes of people. It might not be the most totally updated gadget (No wifi), but it certainly looks great and sleek. Nokia is doing something for the basic mobile phone users which is another market that might not be the interests of other new phone makers. I think it’s cool and it would be nice to have one.
