Recession is biting hard these days, people who normally drive might start considering public transportation because of personal cost cuts. Some might consider just holding on to their cars till recession is thru, some might sell their car in order to sustain their living expenses, but some might go and take loans and this is where it could change. On the corporates / companies side, recession is also a means to gain more market share. So how can we create this win win situation for both sides? So I thought of advertising, in times of recession increasing advertising could get them more market share. We’ve all seen public transportation carrying adverts of different companies, so why not private vehicles?

Here’s how it works:

This is quite similar to the Common People as Endorser Idea. Members are to submit their profile together with the daily schedule of “Where” they work, route, etc. The model and pictures of their car must also be posted (as detailed as possible). It would be an online directory where members advertise themselves on the website on each of the cars that they have; there would also be Advertisers (Corporates / Companies) where they’d be listing what they’re looking for and members could apply to. Details on how the car will look will be shown to members so they know what their car will look like.

Deals can be in different forms, some negotiable and some fixed. Deals can also be monetary value or products / services (e.g. if gas / petrol company to provide you X amount of gas Monthly), this is negotiated online thru the negotiation panel on the website (Imagine ‘Monopoly Game’ Trade). Deals are set to a monthly collection.

Once a deal is made, corporate pays the website and is then sent thru an ‘authorized car dealer’. Corporates sets their own terms and conditions which members are supposed to comply to once they agree with the deal. This is where the member gets his/her car painted to whatever the advertiser had designed for their car. Collection will be done online or wired transferred to the member’s account (Monthly). this is to ensure that the member retains the car paint.

To check, pictures of the car must be sent to the website thru the authorized car dealer every month. Checking of car mileage to verify client’s usage of the car is also another way to check. Pictures must also be posted online on their Social Network Primary picture.

Revenues could be for companies to search for cars available for advertisements. Search (Priority) Engine will also be shown, just like the sponsored links in Google. Car accessories / car insurance etc, could also be posted as advertisements on the website.

Unclear thoughts:

• How much would a car paint cost?
• How much should the member receive for the advertisements on their cars?
• What will be the “rate” for advertising on this concept?
