First off, I would just like to wish everyone a very happy new year, and hope that 2010 would be a great year for everyone. This 2009, we’ve experienced a lot of hardships (with the recession + the H1N1) and as 2009 comes to a close, 2010 is looking great as we all get back up to our feet. I’d like to start off by listing my 3 New Year’s resolution…
… We all have things that we want to change and New Year’s resolution is just a great excuse for us to change what we do that needs changing. There’s many things that I’d want to list down, but these will be my priority for the year 2010. Here’s my 3 New Year’s Resolution:
My Internet business is eating up most of my time, sometimes work could take 10 – 14 hours of my time. One of the causes of that is probably because I’m in the learning stage this year, testing out different methods to really make money online. But I’ve learned my lessons and tasks that take a lot of my time before, now takes a little less time to complete. With less time on work, I could spend more quality time with my loved ones.
After acquiring enough domains that I wanted, I would limit my acquisitions to the minimum and focus on developing what I currently have. What’s hard sometimes is to focus while you see a lot of great domains available and not get them. Sometimes too much opportunity can really be blinding of what huge opportunity we already have in front of us.
I live and am from the Philippines, I’d like to develop the internet space here to do what I can to contribute to my country (and profit at the same time, it is a Business) instead of just looking at gTLDs like .com, .net etc. . There is so much need for the modernization and advancement of Philippines’ Technology and I’d love to be able to contribute and dominate this area. I’d love to see Philippines to rise back again as it used to before where we were the top in Asia or somehow better (especially that our elections are on May 2010, there’s new hope for everyone)
