MBAvid: Your Free MBA resource website
How much does a MBA course cost these days? You have Open University that you can do distance learning thru the web but still it costs thousands of dollars. In times of recession, everyone wants to upgrade themselves but with less money to spend, MBA courses does cost them a lot. MBAvid tries to solve this problem, by providing free educational resources for your MBA needs. What’s great about it…
… is that it shows (modules) lectures on the topics that an MBA would cover, showing both theoretical lectures and shows that relate and could help the watchers understand the topic further. It also has a group and forum section (none made at this time), which they intend to have people in the community interacting and helping each other out. They cover these categories / topics:
- Finance
- Strategy
- Leadership
- Marketing
- Operations & Supply Chain
- Economics
- Accounting
- Entrepreneurship
- Information Technology
- Consulting
- Sales & Negotiation
- Innovation
- Business School Tips
- Business Entertainment
But being free does have its drawbacks, relying on community members for more questions (which could give the wrong answer). There’s also no professional lecturer to guide you once your stuck, and there’s no certificate or exams to prove your knowledge. However, it’s still a great website with worthy resources for all your MBA needs.
Overall, great free educational resource for people who wants to learn MBA. I personally support the free model and what it represents, as I believe, in more practical education along with being free. At this point in time, people have less money to spend and need the skills to keep their jobs or to find one.
