Logitech just announced the release of their new camera Logitech C615 HD Webcam, unlike the built in webcams that our laptops and some desktops have, this one is HD. With the advancement of TV’s and monitors, HD is really something that we’d really want in our homes and this is the perfect gadget for that.

 

Video Chatting, via Skype, Facetime, etc, allows you to stream up to 720p, but most of use use only small 1 megapixel cameras. For those with faster internet connection, 720p would look so much better especially if you Video Chat on the TV right? Logitech C615 HD Webcam can record up to 1080p (8 megapixel camera), however, on video chatting it can only do 720p. It’s compatible for Mac and PC and there are built in social media uploads to different social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube). It also comes in a swivel that can rotate up to 360 degrees and has autofocus (making it catch images more clearly).

 

Logitech C615 HD Webcam currently priced at $79.99 in the US and should be expected to reach international customers by September.
