It took me 8 months to understand Domaining fully

learn domaining takes time It took me 8 months to understand Domaining fullyIt’s been 8 months since I officially started investing in domains and it is only this time that I could fully say that I understand domaining. My 8 months experience has been quite tough and not to mention expensive, but domaining to me right now is very clear and I know how I’m going to make money out of it. Domaining is tough at first but gets easier each time you learn…

… I have mentioned a lot of my mistakes before when I started domaining, and I’ve spent thousands of dollars into useless and worthless domains which I could’ve used else where. But thanks to the helpfulness of the domaining industry, I finally understood what I needed to do to make money in domaining.

Here are some of my most recommended reading list for those who wish to enter domaining or already started in domaining:

Domaining – My daily news feed, it aggregates all the domain related news and blog posts of expert domainers in the industry. I drop by daily and make sure that I get to read all the posts.

Bruce Marler – A domainer and a developer, he was an inspiration in terms of pushing me into learning more about developing domains. A very down to earth (despite his success) and helpful guy who has helped me countless times with my domaining questions.

Elliots Blog – One of the most popular domainers in the industry, Elliot is still very humble and friendly and is one of the people I approach as well when I do have domaining queries. His no B.S. insights and experiences have helped me understand domaining deeper. His post on Expert domainers’ advice is legendary.

Frager Factor - One of the legends of domaining, but instead of just sharing his experiences, he shares new domains and interesting concepts. He’s also one of the people I ask questions to about domaining, very friendly and helpful guy.

Fusible – My inspiration for hand registration, these guys proves that there’s still opportunities lurking around hand registered domains. They also develop websites which I regularly follow as this is something I wanted to do myself.

Domainvestors.tv - Morgan is adding more and more important facts and insights on the table especially with his videos on domaining. I was able to learn a lot from his techniques by just reading thru his blog and watching his videos.

Chef Patrick – One of the best news sources in domaining, ChefPatrick never siezes to amaze me on how a Chef keyword could be branded into domaining (Content is really king). Nonetheless, this guy gives insights and shares his experiences not only thru blogging but with videos as well. Didn’t I mention that he gets hot girls in his videos?

ArbelArif – With a collection of news, insights and available domains to register, I make sure that I get to read what’s new on this blog on a daily basis. What I like is that his posts are short yet very useful, it saves me time and gives the insights that we all need.

DotSauce – His blog design is simply amazing, this just shows that a domainer can really develop wonderful sites and not just minisites. What’s also great is that his blog posts are unorthodox and uses different facts and information to get you to understand domaining.

DomainNameWire – The source of your daily domain sales and news, this website is dedicated in propagating domains by providing an excellent news feed for everyone to get updated. It’s one of the reasons why we all hope to be a millionaire in the industry everytime we hear a domain being sold for millions.

Teen Domainer – Short but insightful blog posts, this teen can really show you how domaining can be done by anyone. If a teen can do it, everyone can do it too. Don’t be fooled by the teen brand, his experiences and insights already make him an expert in this field.

DotJake – One of the new guys in town, I’ve included him as his blog posts are really informative and shows his experiences in domaining before he even started blogging.

I’d like to thank all of them for the 8 months that I was able to pick up domaining, without them, I could’ve thrown away more money into useless domains that would’ve made me quit easily.

Thank you so much Domaining community and I’d like to wish you all a good Christmas holiday and a Happy New Year!
