Innovid: Future Innovation in Video

innovid1 Innovid: Future Innovation in VideoWith YouTube failing to profit from their operations despite the huge number of members and visitors coming to their website, it’s certainly a big problem for video sharing websites out there. Google started adding Adsense into their videos, but would that be enough to sustain (Video sharing websites) their operations? Good News to YouTube, here comes their hero:

There’s this really cool and new innovation on the web called Innovid.com, I believe they have what it takes to change the whole video industry. Their innovation is very simple being able to insert advertisements in the video. The way the ads are integrated into the video is quite fascinating, there are 6 types of video ads, from ads popping up in the screen to simply clicking items that you see on the video and buy online. This is the future of the online video industry.

I think this will lead to higher click through rate compared to current adverts being used by Video sharing websites. The interaction allowed between the video and its viewers are very detailed, being able to click through items in the video and be able to purchase them at the right websites. I think this will be great for video sharing websites and video sharers, as they would be able to monetize their videos more (if revenue was shared with video sharers). This will bring about a new wave of Affiliate marketing using Videos. As more and more people use their computers more than their TV to watch videos, it won’t be long before this becomes a very lucrative market.

Check out their Adverts in their demo here.
