Huawei MediaPad – First to have Android 3.2

Huawei is one of the brands that most people don’t really find great (they actually mock them a lot). But, they’ve recently announced that they’ll be releasing a new tablet called the Huawei MediaPad. Now, unlike other tablets, what they boast about is that they’re the first Android 3.2 OS tablet.

 

Here’s the Huawei MediaPad Tablet Specs:

• 10.55 mm thick
• 390 grams
• 217 pixels-per-inch IPS capacitive touchpanel
• 1.2 GHz Dual core processor
• 8GB Internal Storage
• 5 Megapixel back camera and 1.3 Megapixel Front camera
• Wifi (N) / Bluetooth / GPS
• 6 hours battery life
• 1080p playback
• HSPA / 3G support
• Flash Player

 

There are no announcements on pricing yet and, so far, Huawei MediaPad highlighted too much on the Android 3.2 (which is supposedly more compatible for 7 inch tablet like theirs). I really don’t see anything else special with this compared to other tablets that are being sold on the market. I think what would make it cool is if the tablet was to be sold for really low price with these capabilities, but maybe I’m just hoping too much?
