How to Watch Live NBA games in your iPhone, iPod or iPad for FREE
I know, I know, the season’s over (Congratulations Mavs!). It’s a bit late for me to post this, but I’d like to share how we can all watch the NBA games Live via our iPad or iPhone. The best thing about this is that you don’t need to jailbreak your device, but without jailbreak, you would need to pay for it.
The only app that I found that could play this was TVU Player (iPad and iPhone & iPod), it’s the only one that I found that has a basketball channel that streams live NBA games. The only problem is audio, the only channel that streams Live NBA games is CCTV5 which is a Chinese channel. So if you don’t mind watching with no sound or something that you don’t understand then it’s perfect for you. TVU Player costs $4.99 in the app store, and has over 1000 channels in it.
I’ve watched all the NBA Playoffs, Semi Finals and Finals in my iPad, the only thing I complain about is that it’s a bit pixelated and not too clear to watch. But the stream is live and the scores are live, streaming seems to be fast as well, I never had any buffering at any point of the game which is really cool. You can try it out first by downloading the free “lite” version of the app and see if it’s worth the $4.99 for you. So if you really want to watch NBA games live with your iPad, iPhone or iPod, it’s the app for you.
