Forum Website Alternative, Why don’t you try WordPress’ P2 theme?

Forums have always been a popular choice for a lot of internet entrepreneurs, the reason for that is that it is pretty much users contributing contents and all they have to do is watch over and maintain. But lately I’ve noticed a lot of spams targetting forums and, as a matter of fact, it has ruined one of the forums that I’ve built. WordPress has released a theme called P2 which is better than a forum script…

… Since I started on Web and Domain Developing, one of my favorite platforms in CMS is WordPress. Not only is it easy to use, it is also very powerful and if you know how to use it, it can do more than just blogging or forum.

With this P2 wordpress theme, it looks very simple and the moment you see it, you’ll understand what you’re supposed to do straight away. What I also like is the minimalistic approach of P2 theme that doesn’t make it too cluttered and can hide the replies so that you see a more general look. I also trust WordPress with SEO which could really drive good traffic to the site. What’s also nice is that you can control postings to the website by having users sign up to your site if they wanted to contribute (but doesn’t require registration for replies). P2 theme was created by the people behind WordPress, as they were inspired with Twitter’s concept. So expect that it is powerful and with less bugs that other themes.

I’ll be testing it out on some of my domains and hopefully I’ll see great results out of it. So check it out at WordPress.org and see if it could be the right project for your domain.
