First Spa Movie Theatre in the World

A chance for you to experience the first ever Spa Theater in the World. I’m running a competition for Metro Manila, Philippines based bloggers (sorry rest of the world), wherein 28 people will get a chance to win a foot (back and shoulders) massage experience while enjoying the Spa Theater. Details of the competition at the end of this post.

I’m very proud to announce BlueWater Day Spa’s Spa Theater in the Philippines, I believe it’s one of the first Spa Theater in the world. It was through a joke that this whole theatre was conceptualized, we were thinking of ideas on what type of spa should we do next. My mom and I were talking about how uncomfortable movie chairs are and imagine if someone was doing a foot massage while you were watching a movie, we started laughing and thought how that is impossible. Until, at some point, we realized that it is possible to do so. Six (long) months of planning and construction, BlueWater Day Spa Ortigas Avenue Branch has now opened its doors. It’s a 621 m² Spa, and can accommodate 55 people at a given time.The spa is equipped with a Spa Theatre, Couple’s Rooms, Common Rooms, Locker Rooms, and Sauna. Check out the pictures here:

The Reception

The Reception is much bigger than the usual reception of BlueWater Day Spa, the concept has now changed into a more Modern European look. You’ll be greeted with 2 water fountains and with an artistic wood accent.

 

 

 

Consultation Area

To help you choose the best spa or beauty service, we have made a consultation area to be able to do consultations privately. Here you’ll be guided by our Consultants on what treatments you would like and with a simple demo so you could choose the best service for yourself.

Spa Theatre

Our Spa Theatre can accommodate 28 people at one time. It’s equipped with High Definition cinema projectors with Dolby Sorround 7.1 sounds that will make you feel like you’re inside the movie. The movies are all BlueRay movies, so the latest movie is the latest BlueRay Releases. It also has 28 Lazy boy type leather seat sofas which were custom made with the perfect reclined angle so that you can enjoy the treatment and the movie in the most relaxing way. This Theatre is open to rent for Private parties (Private Parties, Business Presentations, Business Conferences). Imagine ps3 party where in you get to play games on a 160 inch wide screen by 5 feet, or a Video karaoke party where you and a big group of friends can sing and party with the whole group. I believe sky’s the limit with this concept, you can plan your own unique party as long as we approve it. Treatments that can be done here are Foot Reflex (With Back and Shoulder massage) and Foot Scrub only.

BlueWater Hallway

If Spa theatre is not your cup of tea then there are also private and common rooms to do any BlueWater Day Spa Treatments. But before you get there you’ll be passing by the BlueWater Hallway. The design here is that you are walking on BlueWater, you’ll feel relaxed just by passing thru this area.

Sauna

 

Our Spas are also equipped with Sauna that can accomodate up to 9 people at a time. Both men’s and women’s locker and shower rooms have one.

 

 

 

Common Rooms

Our Common Rooms can accomodate 19 people at any given time (10 for women and 9 for men), Men and Women have separate areas and have their own locker and shower rooms. Imagine having treatments with groups of friends, doing body (massage or body scrub) treatments, facial treatments, hand or foot treatments.

 

 

Couple’s Rooms

If you would like to have your own private area with your husband or wife, girlfriend or boyfriend then this is the place for you. Our Spa has 4 Couple’s Rooms available for our clients. Any BlueWater Day Spa services can be done here.

We’re currently working on different unique projects, a Outdoor Spa Retreat hotel and a Spa within the greenfield. Only 28 people will be chosen, closing of submission of entries will be on the 15th of February 2009. Date of the treatment will be confirmed and will be set at a weekday afternoon. I will confirm just ‘one date’ once everyone agrees on the date so everyone will be together for the event.
