So what happens when the battery of your IPhone, BlackBerry or Ipod runs out? Do you go and start looking for a charger? What if its an emergency? (It’s not an advert nor is this a paid post) I found a very cool and interesting gadget that will surely be a battery savior. It’s called TheSmartCover, it fits in your device really nicely and it charges the battery using Solar Power so no need for the plugs…

It’s probably the first of its kind but it surely can do a great job and have a lot of people interested with not having to rely on chargers or plugs anymore. I’ve heard a lot about Iphone Battery problems and this is definitely going to help a lot of users.

What I really like about this accessory is that it taps the solar power, its free and it charges as you use it. What’s even better is that it can extend the battery life to up to 9.5 hours talk time (3G and 13.5 hours on 2G). What I like about it is if there’s no sun available then you can use the USB port to charge your phone as well. The only thing that I believe will stop people from using it is the size it will make the phone into. It will of course make it a little bit more bulky and larger than the usual.

This is such a great product and that’s why I featured it here, it may not look all that appealing but the function that it does is absolutely vital for the said devices. I’m sure this is just the start of these types of products, I expect the designs in the future will be much more sleek and could be integrated by mobile phone producers into a simple mobile phone function.
