dnScoop is a new domain name valuation website that I found. Unlike other domain name valuation tools which focuses on just valuing your domain, this website has other features such as a Forum, directory, and a market place for buying and selling domains. What I like about it…
… is that it consolidates quite a lot of services for domain names in one website. The domain name valuator is free which helps us to benchmark our domains better. Domain name valuation is done by the following criteria:
There’s a forum, where people can discuss about domain names and developing websites. I found it really cool with lots of informative posts. There’s also a marketplace to buy and sell domain names, but there’s not much websites listed on it yet. The directory they offer is a paid directory (minimum of $5) to get listed which is not really going to be helpful to most right now and there’s a lot of other free directories that we can tap into. What needs to improve is the Domain Name valuation tool which lowered my score due to it not finding a domain name IP report and Text link ads (which I do serve). TechFilipino.com was valued at $721, which is quite high I believe (or maybe I haven’t checked recently).
But, as I read their about page, they’re going to continue improving the service that they have to make it more accurate (I’m looking forward to this). Overall, I like the service that they have. It gives me more aspects to look at how well I’m doing with my website, and by integrating a community and marketplace (around Domain Names and Website Development), I could get help or help others in monetizing and developing websites and domain names.
