Be Patient with your Internet Business

The problem, I believe, people have with the internet businesses is that they think it is fast money. But it totally isn’t like that, internet businesses would be faster to build up (normally) than a traditional brick and mortar business but still needs time for it to grow and mature. People should know that businesses online aren’t an overnight thing, its been built up over time and has grown to become lucrative…

… One of my first misconceptions about the internet before was that I need to build it up for a short while and in comes the money, and man I was wrong. A year down the line, I’m still not earning enough to cover my business expenses and I’m burning cash as I continue to operate.

– Online Businesses, like traditional businesses, need time to grow –

Why is it that I’m not earning money? I’ve invested my time and money on developing domains into websites, it’ll need time to grow and mature to make me the money that I want. Whether it is domain investing, domain developing, web design, affiliate marketing etc, it’s going to take time. Be patient, I know some numbers can be very hard to swallow, but if you keep at it you’ll find success at some point. For me, it’s more like a trial and error method, where I focus on a specific direction and keep trying to find success and if it fails, move on! It’s about being patient and if you’re lucky and hit the right timing, you make a lot of money.

Patience in Internet businesses is the key, and patience requires passion as well, as you need passion to fuel your patience all the way thru. This is what I’ve learned this 2009, and as a year passes again, it fuels my passion for Internet businesses even more.
