2009 is the time for domain acquisition

So many people would say that they’ve missed the boat when it comes to domaining, but have they really missed it? I’m not talking about the first rate premium domains like toys.com or candy.com, all those are obviously taken. But there’s still opportunity in domaining if you look around you, 2009 is definitely the time to acquire domains…

… One of the things that 2009 is known for is that the prices of domains are down, It could be the recession or whatever the reason is, but the fact is that the domains are selling on the low. Domains that are supposedly selling for thousands are now just selling for hundreds.

Also notice how many really nice domains are being dropped or auctioned at low prices right now, there’s so much going on right now that I’m sure a lot of people are busy acquiring these domains. You could check out the ones that are being deleted and back order your domain or you could also wait for some to be deleted and hand register them for a low $7! What you need to focus on right now is to find these opportunities, and remember you’re not restricted to the .com, there’s .net and .org which does command a good value and captures the global search market. They may not sell as high as a .com but they can gather SEO like the .com, especially if the .com isn’t developed.

There’s opportunity still in domaining, it’s never too late to start. All it takes is being patient, passionate and work hard towards it, domaining is never easy but it’s not too hard either.
